New WHP Record!

We love it when a customer takes their car and puts it on a 3rd party dyno; even if it is 5000 miles away! Here we have a built motor, Moto-East spec BEGi Turbo Kit, along with our 650 cc injectors and an upgraded fuel pump (soon to be added to the catalog). While always a work in progress, this is the highest HP 06+ MX-5 that we have ever seen! The tuning is using our Delta Force Commando and a Moto-East tune; fine tuned by the customer on the dyno. Thank you Mr. 5 from Poland for sticking with it and leading the way! To make the math a little bit easier, that is 355 whp, about 400 crank HP, in a 2450lb car! Bear in mind the compression ratio is 8:1 on this motor, and for this reason the <3000 RPM range looks a little weak. However once superimposed on a stock MX-5 dyno, you will see that it is all added power, and nothing is lost down low. We should also mention that with a bigger turbo, there is easily another 50-100 whp left in this setup!
